Newnan’s first-ever PorchFest takes place May 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM in beautiful downtown Newnan. Historic homes become mini stages for local musicians, with art, food trucks, and friendly faces lining the streets. It’s an unforgettable way to blend music, community, and Southern hospitality.

Held the first Saturday of each month from March to December, Market Day fills downtown Newnan with over 50 booths of handmade, homegrown, and one-of-a-kind goods. Local artisans, farmers, and makers offer everything from fresh produce and baked goods to pottery, art, and floral design. At the same time, Pickin’ on the Square brings live acoustic music to the courthouse lawn, creating a relaxed, community-focused vibe. It’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning in Newnan.

There’s no better place to show your red, white, and blue than Newnan’s 4th of July Parade. Kicking off at 9:00 AM on July 4, the parade runs from Veteran’s Memorial Park to Greenville Street Park, complete with floats, bands, and community pride.

The Coweta County Farmers Market runs every Wednesday and Saturday morning at the Asa M. Powell Sr. Expo Center, offering fresh produce, handmade goods, and friendly faces.
